perche si crea una opera d'arte,quando immaginarla fa piu piacere?

"why to create a work of art,while imagining it gives much more pleasure?"
One of the most controversial ,brave and opponent artists. Pasolini is marxist among fascist,gay among communist,unconformist among the intellectuals. Not belong to any exact identification. Even in his early poems,he described his only fear as not to be understood.
The poet,the writer,scripter and the realisateur. A total ,controversial,exceptional,out of rule artist. A manifesto against all tabus and the rituels of modern life.

He was a pretty good writer but to go beyond italian language(not to restrict himself with the language) and to tell all the world his opinions,he adapted into cinema and created his own way of cinematography.
In his early cinema works, Pasolini was the script writer,consultant for Fellini,and the later Bertolucci was the assistant for Pasolini. For me,he is one of the best 3 italian directors with Pontecarvo and Bertolucci.

His early works,like Acetone and Mamma Roma are very realistic,vulgar: prostitutes,pimps,beggars,back streets of 60s' Rome,Neo-realismo.


















La trilogia della vita: il decameron, flower of the arabian nights (legendary) , i racconti di canterbury..
He tells the middle age stories in his dream way without any sexual borders,full of imagination like those particular moments.


Teorema: A smash to capitalism and bourgeoisie with a mystical-sexual way of curing :D,,not so deep metaphors,some experimental staff,with a modern saint visit at the end of 60s.

Pasolini is trying,examining,provocating the audience. In his late works,the importance of content and the marginality of the cinematography (the style) have been mixed.
All in all, for me, his content (the thing to say) is more important than the style.
I haven't seen his irresistible work "Salo" yet.

He was killed before finishing la trilogia del morte in a complicated way.
