Miral (and Dar al-Tifl)

When I see The names miral-palestinia and julian schnabel together, omg the expectations become quite high for something sharp ,,somethng deep. (like La battaglia d'algeria ,,or Paradise Now,, or Carlos)

The movie is not bad.it is something in few points..the story isn't deep as the original book. but it tries to tell you something ,with a real middle eastern mis en scene,,the camera catches some realistic perspectives of life( in palestinia people still live) a modernist debut through the side of palestinian. I guess,it would be alot more effective and authentic (instead seeming cute to audience) if they use both native languages arabic and hebrew during dialogs.
6.5/10

""the debate,a pacifist one about a conflict which has received too much media exposure:none of the two people has any future if he denies his neighbor's well-being and dignity ;if this movie gets a message across ,it's this one .This epic takes place between the birth of the state of Israel (1948) and the Oslo agreement (1994).""
